Nike Maria Vassil returned to Germany in 1991/92 after attending acting school East 15 in London.
Moving to Stuttgart, she worked there for various theatres before founding her own theatre company 'Elefthero Theatro' (the independent theatre).
Working as a theatre director, producer and actress between 1994-98, she produced and directed several plays, among others the children's play 'Gaitanaki', an intercultural piece which was performed in two languages, Greek and German, and which was received with enthusiasm by the press and all the kids (especially those with a bilingual background) (see reviews).
On moving to Munich in 1999 she adopted the stage name Nike Maria Vassil. She still lives and works in Munich.
